She was born Liliana Jewel on July 4, 1999, and boy was that as fitting a day for her to enter this world as any! Lily is my first child. She brought so much joy and a lot of laughter to my life as a baby and even now, to this day. When she was just a small girl, she always thought the fireworks and celebrations that took place on her birthday were all for her....and I had no intentions of telling her different until she got older and realized for herself that she was born on our country's Independence Day...
Now my little girl is turning ten and as I look back over the years I realize one thing: Time really flies when you're a mommy! My Lily is now a Fifth grader! She loves Drama (acting and the other kind!), fashion, insects, bugs and creepy crawly things, she has a passion for animals and wants to live on a farm one day. She's on her way to being as tall as me and she's almost wearing my shoes!
I miss the memories from the past. I look forward to the many moments we will share and enjoy together in the future....
